Am I screwed with my Faust?

I finally got a Sealed Sword and I decided to upgrade it into a Faust cuze i really like it. Therefore, I purchased a Faust Recipe, learnt the recipe and collected all the mats.
However, I just noticed that it causes curses on the user (that's me) and I would need quite a lot of curse resistance to avoid the curse.
It's too late to switch to Avenger now, so my questions are:
Am I screwed with my Faust since I can't use the charge attack? and is it a lot of trouble to collect all the curse-resistance armors?
For the divine set, wouldn't gremlins mobs be a problem since they do a lot of normal damage,
with the possible new boss run including explosive gremlins, normal damage coverage will be important.
for normal damage you could switch out the divine mantle for a vog cub coat which still stacks elemental defence plus adds some normal defense. and still gives you some curse resistance. But yes normal defence is important against gremlins and if you really want all the normal defence with curse resist you can get valkyrie armor but its fire weakness is kind of a disadvantage.
I would personally run
Divine cowl
Vog cub coat
whatever weps and shield other than faust
The faust's charge attack isnt really that great IMO and gran faust charge attack is not as useful as the divine avengers dont worry about it very much its not really a necessity. In addition the faust can also inflict curse which is very nice. If you want an avenger you have your faust already which is a very good sword for farming jelly king so you can get another sealed sword.
For the armor part.
If you want to use Faust's charge attack really bad without risking getting cursed I suggest you get a divine helm, and mantle set, which is BTW excellent for tier 3 offering shadow and elemental defense, with fire, shock and finally your much needed cure resistance. The recipes for these are not very expensive so I dont think you will have much trouble obtaining them.
