Hi!
So I haven't touched this in ages but on a whim I decided to just poke around. Anyone still alive?
Things certainly have changed a lot for me, back when I played the game a ton. I still do miss it, but...
...well, I'm glad things are still here.

I could get into a bunch of reasons why I think all signs point to no, at least in terms of any actual attempts to improve the game, but the horse is already a red mist at this point. At best I think we'd get another teeny tiny droplet of previously scrapped content if the amount of people whaling drops dangerously low, or more likely a patch in the event that some catastrophic thing happens like 1 person abusing a new exploit to make the game literally unplayable for everyone (I would say that's unlikely but this game feels like it was originally programmed by drunk rats at times so I don't think it's past the realm of possibility). All in all, what is here now is likely all that will be here in the future if the game stays up.

It's a miracle the game is still alive IMO, just a handful of crazy people like us still play this game, or remember it. I say enjoy it while it lasts.
BTW I wished they open source this, including all the tools to make dedicated servers, I'll happily add new features myself.

Still as good as before
I've got to say, coming back to this gem of a game every few years always brings a smile to my face.
Even though I've managed to destroy my previous account years ago when binding with Steam, playing on a new account for a few months and coming back to see familiar faces (or meeting new ones again) years later, is a blast.
Even though the player base is relatively small, everyone is really nice and fun to talk to / chill with.
Of course, it would be incredible to suddenly have a surge of new players coming in, but just the fact that Cronus, and potentially someone else (?) is keeping the game alive after so much time is a blessing in itself.
Thank you Cronus for not letting the game die, and thanks to everyone in the community for being so welcoming.
Here's to at least another 10-20 years of SK!
yes the game is still fun!
there is less people then there used to be but their is still a decent bit of people who play
u can still find groups to run arcade and missions with
the only thing that has trouble getting players is the colliseum
all around the game is great and the community is still alive
