Hi All,

Returning player as I love the equinox event and I'm wanting to finish my collection to get the orbit which requires just a few crates. I've hit a spending limit and, on research submitted an email to support about it. This post however is more that I've met loads of people in Haven currently (yay for active player record for the first time in 5 years!) who have also submitted tickets and had to wait days, weeks or, in one case, a whole 2 months for a response! Is it still truly necessary to have the spending cap? If so is there a way we can instead self validate ourselves?

Indeed

I agree, the spending limit should be removed so people could spend however much they want!

I don't think we need it either, it was probably intended so kids wouldn't overspend on their parents' credit cards but there are not many kids playing nowadays.
I wonder why GMs would take so long to approve it though, wouldn't they want people to be able to spend more?

Maybe they should take the age of the account into consideration, anyone playing 5 or 10 years can have it automatically removed.

No need to touch grass

More than aware about the FAQ, otherwise how would I have emailed support about it and also their justification for the spending cap. The query is that is it still truly necessary to have it given it has been such a long time and, at this point, there is a niche but dedicated community supporting the game. If self validation was possible or, like Flowchart said, account age could be a factor then that would be great.

Seriously, if you're account has been active since the start like mine (12 years+) then its rather unlikely that you're gonna be using a parent's credit card lol.
