Which flavour of Alchemer?

So I decided I'd like a weapon to inflict status at range and decided on something from the Alchemer series. However, I'm at a loss as to which status effects are most useful vs monsters in general.
I already own a Firotech Alchemer and a Voltech Alchemer, but I've only used the former in battle. I liked just kiting and setting a bunch of things on fire to rack up damage before tearing stuff up with my Khorovod. I have a Freezing Atomizer in the works, so I'm not sure if a Cryotech Alchemer would just be overkill.
Can someone with a lot of experience with the Alchemer line suggest to me which I should take up to 5*? If you need to know anything like playstyle or usual strata just ask.

Yeah I'll definitely be moving into the Citadel ASAP so I guess Firotech isn't really a wise choice then, despite it excelling otherwise.
I've heard the Cryotech is self-defeating in that the ricochet removes the Freeze status it inflicts? If that's the case, then I'll definitely go for the Storm Driver for the DPS as well as interruption status and its general efficacy across strata. Unless I run into Quicksilvers, of course.

Indeed it is. However, if you can freeze then use the Leviathan charge, that's much more damage than you usually do - but that's such a hassle it's not worth it (I'll admit, I went Cryotech before realizing the above issues). It's really only good for inflicting Freeze than running away to catch your breath - which Shock would do just as well. Storm Driver would be the best, in my opinion.
Voltech or Cryotech. I assume you'll go into the Citadel eventually, if you haven't already. That being the case, Firotech isn't nearly on the level as the others. However, in other scenarios, it does more damage per second.
However, it does not stall the enemies, something ideal in Tier 3. In all honesty, I would go Voltech - it's status effect is better than Cryo, but nearly the damage of Firo.
