Flamberge - UV worth carrying over?

My Flamberge (piercing damage) has a medium damage against gremlins UV. The Armour bonuses together makes it high gremlin damage. I wanted to upgrade it and was wondering if I should let the UV carry over. Currently, I am rather happy with it – love taking down those Gremlins with the flamethrowers before they can even turn in my direction. What do you guys think, is the UV good enough to continue with to a Fierce Flamberge?
If I'm around a bunch of gremlins but don't have a shadow sword on me then my flourish is a great choice of weapon. It is fast and can close the distance quickly. Also, when safe to perform, the third strike will usually knock down the gremlin. So yeah, I think a Gremlin UV is useful for Flamberge. It won't stack as perfectly as beast/fiend since piercing is neutral but the flourish line still works great on gremlins.
