Just wondering about other opnion on tying up their ce on won items?

Well I would personally wait 1-2 days at most, seems like that guy is from Australia, maybe you guys get on at different times. Should try mailing him if you haven't.
@philidor: Really can't get everyone to honor their own auction, but if they want to have a bad reptutation on forum its up to them. I have my own list of people whose auction I would never bid in or allow to bid in my auction.

Might be timezones. I've had one of my sales take 3 days since only one of us was on at a time during the week. That being said he should still respond to in game mail.
ya i emailed him in game as soon as i won. That and i tend to play at very strange times b/c i have insomnia sometimes so i was on during prime Australia playing time
ya so he finally wrote me back and said that he sold it to someone else claiming to be me bought it as soon as the auction ended ....so wahtever there is so b/s somewhere
thats the dubious thing about these auctions. There is no real guarantee (whereas in a real life Auction, if the minimum bid is met, the item is sold).
It would be nice if there was someway to set up an official mediator. (i realize this is unfeasible) But it would be nice if there was a mediator, and when someone posted an auction they "sold" the item to the mediator for the minimum bid (handing the item over in the process) and then when the Auction was over, the mediator collected the CE and passed the item along, and then paid out the balance to the original owner.
This would go a long ways to keep people from posting an item for Auction, deciding they don't like the price--even tho it was above the minimum bid--and just disappearing.
