Help me pick my 5* Gear!

Hey!
I started playing on Friday, but I'm getting close to getting 5* gear now. Only problem is that I can't decide what to get. I mostly like Swords but I also have a Volt Driver to use as gun.
The sword I use at the moment is a 4* Calibur and I was originally gonna upgrade that to a Levi. I've looked a bit around and I think I've changed my mind tho. I got a Striker that I think I'll upgrade to a Dread Venom Striker. I also thought about getting a Divine Avenger to use as a slow weapon.
As for armor, I got the Ash Tail set at the moment, together with a Swiftstrike Buckler, which will be swapped with a Barbarous Thorn Shield as fast as possible. I am intending to go for the Vog set other than that.
To summarize, this is what I got so far:
Ash Tail Set
Swiftstrike Buckler (Swapping with Barbarous Thorn Shield when I get that)
Ascended Calibur.
Volt Driver.
This is what I think would be a good setup:
Vog Set
Barbarous Thorn Shield
Divine Avenger
Dread Venom Striker
Volt Driver.
What do you think?

It does great damage to all
It does great damage to all enemies and its knock-back/flinch is one of the best in the game. Dread Venom Striker should be replaced by it.

Ye, I love the charge up, so damn good. I don't really like the Striker anyway so might do that. Thanks! Is there any gear that gives CTR for swords and not just bombs or do I need an UV for that? :P

So far only Bombs have
So far only Bombs have CTR-reducing armor, probably because bombs don't use speed increases which is what a lot of the gun armor and vog cub provides. Hopefully that'll change as new armors are introduced. If you want faster charge times on your swords you'll need a CTR UV for now.

What about a Silent
What about a Silent Nightblade instead of the Levi? Even though the charge isn't as good it got more damage vs the monsters its effective against. It would be good for Jelly King as I can't manage to solo him with my Calibur at the moment.
Decent set. Get the Leviathan.
