Being that I got my non-UV'd freezing atomizer one time, I wasn't expecting to get a UV for my shivermist buster. Yesterday though when I crafted my SMB it said: "Unique Variant Acquired". Being that it was the 5* version I was seriously surprised of getting a UV. Yes, the odds are still the same and I still shouldn't have got my hopes up at that time. When I looked at the UV, I was shocked. It was CTR low. (Maybe it was medium) Yes, low isn't the best being that I bought it from the 4* stage and didn't craft it myself, but hey, I got it for a cheap price AND probably saved me some CE being that CTR can take a while.

Grey Owlite Shield
My first shield was an emberbreak, and then I realized if I ever wanted a 5* fire-resistant shield, I'd best go with the Owlite line. So I crafted an Owlite Shield, and kept upgrading it... no UV, no UV, not even a useless UV like the sleep resist: low on my Divine Veil. Then I went to craft my Grey Owlite Shield, resigned to no UV... by now the auction house had been released so I was seriously considering buying an Owlite with Elemental Resistance and doing it all over again, but sure enough, I got a UV - Elemental Resist Medium! Not the highest in the world, but definitely the variant I was looking for, exactly what I need for facing down a mechanical canine or fending off the barrages from Retrodes.

So I was trying to sell this thing and a guy offered me 7777. I was like ok 7777cr is good enough. I found the guy, opened trade, and to my surprise he entered 7777ce. I made a O_o face and clicked accept, and the deal was done. "What, I mean, that's cool right?" he said, and I replied "Why, yes, yes it is" and my conscience and I lived happily ever after.

Equipment Drops
So, back when I was T1, doing random parties and trying to decide what (and how) to get for 2* items to get into tier two, I happened to receive an Owlite Shield in a random drop from a box. It was only after I'd crafted it up several levels that I discovered that it was pretty much the shield everyone wanted.
So far I've received a total of 3 equipment drops over the course of playing this game, including a wolver coat and a skelly suit.

Got UV of increased piercing
Got UV of increased piercing resistance - High on my first and only Dark Thorn Shield. It's pretty awesome vs. Wolvers and slimes.
Also, on my first day playing, some guy offered 12k crowns for 5 blue shards. Thanks to him I managed to get a headstart in the game.

Since internet was down the previous day I had 100 ME and, before I left, I though it would be smart to waste some on crafting. The result was a max elemental plate shield on my first try. It was damage againts beasts: low, which may not be the best but still really good since I use that gun mostly on beasts and gremlins (charge attack mostly takes care of the dodging) because my fireburst is weak against them.

I got a UV of Very high
I got a UV of Very high damage vs constructs on my divine avenger when upgrading from a regular avenger. I was so awed and surprised that I just stoned and stared at the screen for a minute or so. XD No way was I expecting a Very high UV on anything that I'll ever make, let alone a very high UV that synergizes well with the weapon.
Alchemized it a short while before 'that' patch. Still have it with me and its never let me down. :3

i crafted caliburs and haze
i crafted caliburs and haze bombs like crazy. i crafted over 500 haze bombs looking for VERY high ctr uv. but never got one. so one day i had 40 ce left so i thought let me just craft 4 haze bombs. and to my suprise my first craft was a very high ctr . and guess what i sold it for 8kce. after that i crafted some caliburs looking for ctr uv. and to my suprise in 50 calibur crafts i got 2 high ctr caliburs and 2 medium ctr caliburs and 1 asi calibur.
just WOW when i sold all the above i made like 50kce.

JK run miracle
So I was in a random party with 2 strangers. At pre-boss depth entire party got wiped out getting the last key. We were about to give up and quit then I notice some guy standing there loading. So I said let's wait for him to drop in and pull the mob to him who happens to be sitting directly on top of the 3 of us. So he jumps in and the mob starts chasing him. I revive myself then the other 2 and wipe out the rest of them. The guy who joined joked "What a way to join" while the three of us thank him and continue on to JK. Here's the best part; after killing JK the 3 of us got 4, yes 4, Jelly tokens. While our savior only got 1 (I feel kinda bad but he did join the fight 1 depth before boss).
I mean if we did quit halfway through it, we would've gotten no tokens and wasted energy going down, but now we got a bonus token. Oh and I know your thinkig pft...1 extra token what does that do? Well let me tell you I had 21 tokens before I could trade for sealed sword. Now getting 4 instead of 3 means I have did not have to do 1 more JK run to get the tokens I need to trade. Very lucky indeed no?

volt driver? more like, GOLD driver
I was soloing a T3 arena at depth 24. This was my first time soloing past Basil and I was a little nervous, but it was a poison-fiend arena and I had a shiny new Divine Avenger to help me through.
All went well and I never had to revive. In the final box of the final treasure room, I saw an item drop. Neat... it's a gun. Wait. It's a Volt Driver. An unbound 4* gun in a popular line. Whoooaaa.
At the advice of a guildmate, I put it on the AH at what I thought was an unreasonably high price - 88888 starting bid, buyout at 444444 (I like playing with my prices). I figured it would maybe go up to a couple hundred Gs, but not more. I mean, a Voltech MKII is maybe 20k, a Volt Driver recipe is maybe 18k on the AH, five levels of heat is about an hour's work... Can't be worth that much. Even at a 100% markup, it should barely break a hundred.
Logged in three hours later and the thing had sold. Full price. I collected the cash and converted it into CE.
I got 10000CE from a box.

I was standing around in Haven when a guy came up to me and asked me whether i was selling wolver coats. I told him i could make one, and ran over to the alchemy machine.
First craft: Piercing defense medium.
I decided to keep that one, as he asked for only a wolver coat.
Second craft: Fire defense low
Third craft: Freeze defense low
Fourth craft: Elemental defense medium
Fifth craft: Shadow defense low.
Eventually i gave him the fire defense low one.

Wow seems you guys are all incredibly lucky, sounds crazy all this stuff.
Well this is mine, starting with yesterday ending today.
Yesterday i was like hmm need to craft a piercing sword, then i noticed i had my snarble barb.
i did some JK to heat it and went 3*, no UV yet. Heated more and went 4* and got CTR medium i was like: wtf I haz nver luck
well seems u get the things you want when u expect them least.
Then today i was like hmm need that barb thorn shield too. Went on a run and i was coupled with 3 other noobs.
We walked straight into a danger room on the first depth and i convinced them to go in. Well u know u can kill mobs in 1/3 hits in T1 with
5* swords so i was rather easy to deal with this room. At the end i an to the boxes and smached them al but without taking the rewards.
And I saw 5 forge sparks laying on the floor. I was like OMG 5 forge out of 8 boxes. I mean forges are supposed to be i bit rare.

Impostocube
I fought the Impostocube that was with an entire wave of jellies. For some random reason, all of the jellies and the impostocube dropped gold coins. Epic glitch.
Also once I killed a bush and it dropped a gold coin. Bushes usually don't drop coins (shrubs do) and when they do, they're usually copper, copper-silver, or silver coins. Scary...
I once sold 1 iron gear for 2k.
One last one. in a tier 2 arena (I think Ice Maul) in the third arena room i was being chased around by devilites, mecha knights, lumbers, and being shot at by around 8 gun puppies. And there were 2 silkwing healers. I only had half a health bar left. I had 2 swords equipted, no guns or bombs. Guess what? I survived. Without healing or reviving. SOLO. Either that was epic skill or epic epicly epiclish epic luck.
Dunno if I can post this much. Just wanted to post them.

im in a tier two emerald axis 2 and I was surrounded by 5 lumbers and 5 wolvers. I had also triggerd a bunch of jellies. Armed only with my Tempered Calibur, I blasted the lumbers away so I cold run away. I kept at this and I killed them all. Got a bunch of cr that day too. My Tempered Calibur has never let me down since. And it has no UV either.( I am planning to get the Cold Iron Carver, then the Cold Iron Vanquisher).

A very special story
Once upon a time I had amassed a bit of ce after shelling out an obscene amount of crowns. Unsure what to do with the stuff, I was wondering innocently about Haven when I noticed a strange, ATM-esque apparatus. Beckoning me with its shiny metallic aura, I decided to approach the mechanism and see what it was. On closer inspection, it appeared to be one of the fabled "alchemy machines" I'd heard of as a lad. Dear old dad had warned me never to tamper with them, lest I lose my life savings mass producing singular pieces of gear in hopes of obtaining some with sparkling yellow circles on them.
Alas, the thought of possessing equipment with glowing shapes on them was too overwhelming. Perhaps if the images in question had been ovals, rectangles, or dodecahedrons I would have been able to muster the strength to resist temptation. But no... They were LUSTROUS, CURVACIOUS GEOMETRIC FIGURES OF PURE OPULENCE AND WASTEFULNESS.
And so I bought a recipe from the auction house. With it, I returned home and prepared a delightfully scrumptious quiche for my wife and children. However, that night I awoke from a fever dream involving the aforementioned meal. As I regained consciousness a scream of "WHY DIDN'T THAT DINNER HAVE A CCR UV ON IT?" echoed within my unnerved mind (for the unaware, CCR stands for "calorie count reduction"). Shortly thereafter, two more psychotic inner shrieks rang out, "SINCE WHEN CAN YOU BUY FOOD ITEMS IN THIS GAME? AND WHY WOULD ROBOTS NEED TO EAT IN THE FIRST PLACE?"
Unsure what the latter two meant but deeply disturbed by the first, I left my home in the middle of the night and returned to the auction house. My obsession with circles and their uniqueness had to be satiated. I began browsing the recipes for different types of explosive devices, saying the names of each aloud. "Hmm... Cinematic Bombs? Nope. Logic Bombs? I'd rather not... A-ha! Here's the problem. Too many Haze bombs!"
Finally, I came across the oft-ignored Crystal Bomb recipe. "From you will I bring into being a legion of special circular luminous weapons that sell at disproportionate market values," I said.
And then 3k ce later, that didn't happen.
However, the experience taught me a lesson. I learned that a knight's worth lies not in his or her ability to accrue gear, or defeat Pat Sajak and Vanaduke White, or a relevant third thing. No, a knight's worth was in his willingness to be good natured and defend the weak and destitute. To look out for the little guy and never let his garb nor fortune go to his head. I suppose I was pretty lucky to obtain that knowledge, even if it wasn't particularly related to the anecdote.
I would like my prize to be a metric ton of sushi, if that's alright. Preferably California rolls.

Once, a 2* guy in skelly gear said he was buying mats. I was selling them at the time, so I traded him. I put out the mats he needed, various 2-4* mats, and OMG HE GAVE ME 4k EA FOR 2* 6K for 4* 7K for 4* in cr. Sadly he only bought a few, resulting in my profit of 20000 cr. hehehehehe. Another story, a dude said he was craftin cutters at 2500 cr. They were selling at 3800 cr on AH, so I thought I could make some profit. He crafted it, put it up on trade, we traded, 2500 cr, for a cutter. Unlucky for him, he apparently didn't see the Unique varient on it. WHOOPS, Bonus damage vs. construct, HIGH. kaboom. Sold for 50K cr. hehe, I gave him a tip of 100 cr, told him there was a UV on it, he seemed unaware. Sold for 50000 cr. haha.

I got a uv sleep low on my wolver coat and I decided to keep it (not a good idea but oh well), and I stuck with it all the way to my ash tail. I decided to not transfer it to my vog since its a useless UV. 5 seconds later after hitting the "transmute" button it shows "Unique variant acquired!!". I was like "oh look at that lucky". I go to check the UV, and..... Fire resist MAXIMUM!!! :D (overkill lol). I went from the most useless UV to a Fire resist max :D. Now where is my prize? >_>

Well, after the update that doubled crafting costs and made everything bind, I was also considering quitting SK, but I still visited the forums often. One day I saw a topic (It's probably still there if someone doesn't beleieve me) where one guy said he quits and will give all his CE to first person who finds him in the Haven and asks. I thought it's probably a joke, but decided to try anyway. I went to check recipes at Vatel and then slowly started searching.
I found him first, and he gave me... 10753CE and around 20k gold. He then left but I decided to give 750 CE each to the guys who came 2nd and 3rd :D
That was in April and I still didn't manage to spend it all ^^
Another story is when I was about to grind JK Palace again, but a friend asked me to play WH40k: Retribution with him, so to make some use of my mist energy - I decided to craft some Haze Bombs, and got UV: CTR Very High on the second one I crafted.

The absolute luckiest I've
The absolute luckiest I've been has to be about a week ago.
Someone came out of nowhere on the trade channel offering to pay 20k CE for a Flourish with ASI VH. I was half-asleep and was like "[dingdang] IT, WE DO IT LIVE" and started crafting Flourishes.
Fourth craft, I got ASI VH as a UV, along with two other random UVs on the other swords I crafted. I got 20k CE off of a whimsical roll of the dice while half-asleep.
Aside from that, got ASI VH on my Acheron after crafting to a 5* and getting rid of my Slimes Medium UV.
Pretty fun times I guess.

I was trying to bankrupt my 2047 crowns last night playing random team games on the Blast Network. After four hours of running around laying explosives, I went to bed at 5 am with 575 crowns and 56 more Krogmo Coins. A loss of less than 1.5kcr for a Mod Calibrator (although today I was fatigued all day).

Just on Sunday, I decided to have a go at rolling some UVs. I've always had good luck with UVs (Got VH ASI on my Combuster and Max Ele defense on my BTS when crafting them to 5 and 4* respectively. Also got some various CTRs on calibur ragecraft), and I figured I'd dedicate enough crowns for 8 rolls, 4 on each of my Volcanic Salamander pieces.
1st roll on my Volcanic Salamander Mask: Max Shadow defense.
I ran around telling friends of my luck, and I drank a beer to celebrate. Then I figured "Why not?" and decided I'd do all 7 other rolls on my Volcanic Salamander Suit to try my luck again.

2 matching max UVs. Each on their first roll.
I was speechless. Strangely enough, after literally screaming at my guildmates with joy, I didn't feel like playing for the rest of the night. I've never tried a UV roll since that night... Should try again some time.
