Winmillion or Vile Striker? Also what 3 star armor should I get?

I've been thinking which I should get. I can afford the recipe for the Winmillion, but I can't afford 300 CE too soon. I have all the materials already. ( I have a completed Arc Razor now)
But since the CE prices went up.. and the Vile Striker has the same damage but a higher speed I wasn't so sure I wanted the Winmillion anymore. I can't buy CE with real money, even if I wanted.

I chose to go with the Spur lines because I really dislike slow weapons. But what I dislike about this one, is the forward push. I'm kinda reckless and always go near bushes and spikes, and end up in them.

I rarely see Vile Strikers on sale, I don't even know the exact price. And I couldn't find an active topic selling one. (maybe I have to look deeper, I don't know). Though if it's over 11k I can't afford it right now.

And the armor thing, as I said, I often end up in bushes or spikes, and just jump straight into monsters. What armor would offer the best protection? I'd also like to get this on the auction anyway. Or should I save up and buy a 4 star one right now?

What do? <_>

Vile Striker FTW!

If I were you, I'd get the Vile Striker. For one, it can cause poison (a MAJOR advantage over the Winmillion), and two, it goes all the way up to 5*. Even though the Winimillion can shoot projectiles, I don't exactly think that gives it a real advantage over the powerful, superfast Vile Striker.

And for armor? Well, I dunno. I'll let someone else answer that one for ya.

Test the Cutter to see if you

Test the Cutter to see if you like it. But personally, Spur line sucks, if you want a fast normal weapon, go with the cutter series.

Neither.

Get a Leviathan blade instead. Vile striker line only really shines in the Jelly King boss level, and is relegated to more of a support role everywhere else. Winmillion is pretty serviceable if you know how to use the movement to your advantage, but there is no 5* version, and in T3 it causes Wolvers to teleport-dodge everywhere.

The sword lineup I recommend, in the order that you should acquire them: Leviathan, Divine Avenger, Acheron/Gran Faust. You could sub in a Glacius or Combustor for the DA, but the charge attack on the DA is killer.

For armor, I find pierce defense still the least useful by far. You can step around wolvers, chromalisks and floor traps, but Puppy Turrets and Devilites are evil. The former like to turn stages into bullet hell (this is why you aggro as few gun puppies at a time as humanly possible), and the latter whip out their attacks really fast. Since Puppy Turrets are everywhere, I suggest stacking normal/elemental defense, but normal/shadow will serve you well on fiend strata. Normal/piercing is not going to that useful as a general-purpose armor unless you blunder into spikes all the time, or are just fantastic at dodging bullets but are wolver-bait.

I need to buy the Cutter in

I need to buy the Cutter in order to test it, and I can't spare anything.

The Leviathan blade seems a little too slow for me.. but I'll consider it. Also I don't know the price so...
Oh wow. I think I'm going to cut the Winmillion off my list soon.

I see. Thank you. I think I'm better at dodging bullets than spikes and bushes so.. xD

Look, I think the striker

Look, I think the striker family is perfect for you, but the charge attack and disadvantages are kinda bad, but not bad as the spur family.

I rarely use the charge

I rarely use the charge attack anyway.. so yeah.. I'll see which will be the cheapest.
