I'm looking for a sword that deals elemental damage to accompany my thorn sword and nighblade. Any suggestions for what I should use? I'm currently torn between the fireburst brandish and the avenger lines, but if there are any other options I'm missing, feel free to mention them.
Good elemental sword?

Combuster is the best elemental sword imo, but DA is better for FSC.

knocking something away is the first benefit, saving you from imminent dangers, and giving you a path....
high attack + that amazing charged attack = heavy damage, plus those flying swords = kewl.....
Avenger gets my vote

I have an avenger, which I
I have an avenger, which I got yesterday, and I'm loving it. The charge is a lifesaver, for a couple of reasons, and I hope you know that the fireburst brandish, only causes fire on the charge attack. Same is with the iceburst brandish. I asked this question myself, and in the end, avenger came out on top.
The reasons why I prefer the avenger: I am a sword-bomb guy, so I don't have a ranged attack, but the avenger's charge gives me that on the charge. Really, it all comes down to the charge between the 2. Also, divine avenger, next in line to the avenger has a AMAZING charge. It shoots 3 swords, which can cause good damage. That's why I chose the avenger line. I have a silent nightblade to go with this, and it's unstoppable.

avenger's charged attack is
avenger's charged attack is one of the best in the game but if you are used to using faster swords like Leviathan and Dread Venom Striker, you should probably get fireburst or iceburst before you ge the hang of slow swords.

You gotta know if you can
You gotta know if you can handle two-strike swords, some people can't stand them. If you enjoy them, Avenger will be the best thing you can get, it's amazing.
Avenger Line is SOOOOOOOOOO MUCH better
