About Pvps
This game lacks long term motivation. After you defeated the boss, and got your 5 star gear, there is not much more to do. All this is doable in way less than a month. One way to keep people interested longer into the game, are improved pvp-modes.
Suggestion 1: Team Pvp
I have spoken to a lot of people, and it seems, that many players long for some sort of team-pvp. There are a lot of modes possible. I believe that some sort of fight for locations mode would work very well in this game. (You'd have to stay for a certain amount of time on that point with your team to capture it.) That way bombs that can protect an area, might actually have some sort of use in pvp. Simple modes, like a team deathmatch, or a survival mode might improve the game a lot already.
Suggestion 2: Personal rewards in Pvp
There is nothing to gain in pvps. Actually, overall, people lose money in pvp: Because 30% of the money is simply sucked away by the game. The motivation for people to pvp is close to 0. I find that really disappointing. One easy way to fix this, would be, to give away items you can only find in pvps. Fore example items, that will increase the chance to craft unique items.
Suggestion 3: Guild rewards by pvp-ing
I heard from a lot of people that they'd like to have their own gate for the guild. (Where only they can put in minerals.) This could be turned into the reward people get from pvp-ing.
I personally would like an option for the guild to temporary own the current gates, and give them the opportunity to create extra level with their crystals. Either way, people are longing for some sort of guild-action.
I could go more detailed into those ideas, but I am sure this text is already too long. And yea, sorry about the bad language. This is not my native tongue.
I do love this game, yet, there is no doubt that this game lacks long term motivation. I know so many people that quit the game after one month playing. New weapons simply are not enough for a long term motivation. Especially since most of the weapons suck. There is no point in testing a new weapon if you know that your current weapons are far superior. But yea, that is an issue for another topic.

I think PvP as it is now, is just a way for people who play for free to waste time in the game while Mist energy comes back or they're just not ready to stop playing after they use their 'daily allowance' of CE.

They will add more incentives later, beyond that pretty crown, at some stage.
i am always motivated to keep playing, cus i love destroying enemies with random stuff (heavy hatchet in tier 3 FTW) just try new weapons instead of going for the antigua series, ash of agni, hunting blade etc. im sure theres a lot of things you havnt tried - but as always~ this game is run by a small team, and don't complain about lack of motivation...ive been playing since 09 and im a fan....are you not a fan >_< ?
but back on topic, i agree we need more pvp options, but disagree with the rewards thing, especially the unique varient thing....as that would ruin the fun and excitement of getting a unique variant. and remember your not actually losing a lot especially if youve got all 5star stuff, unless you do the super brawl ( has anyone done that yet?) just see it as a wager match.
and guild gate rewarded by pvp would not be nice, and would basically force people to be in a major guild. and if you guild isnt ecstatic about pvp.... there would be no benefits for them= disadvantage.
