Okay, so last time I played, I switched Compatibility Mode on since my laptop was hitting a bit of lag and I wanted things to run smoothly. I log on again later and I find out that I can't hear any sound from the game. It's not a laptop issue as any other sound plays fine, just not those from Spiral Knights. Yes, I fiddled with the sliders. Yes, I turned Compatibility Mode off and then fiddled with the sliders. Any idea as to what's causing it?

i get this sometimes, if you press the "windows" button (which minimises the game) then click it on the game in the rask bar thus maximising it again, it should return sound, or when you ulaunch check that there is sound if not quit and re-launch game.
Apparently I can't edit here. Anyways, I turned Compatibility Mode off and restarted the game. Now the sounds work fine. What's weird is that I tried to reproduce the bug by turning CM on again and restarting, it didn't happen. Music, sounds worked as they should be.
