It's a pretty simple idea. I'm not really a programmer/designer, so I don't know whether this would actually be a difficult prospect, but the ability to dye pieces of armor (maybe also swords but probably not) would probably bring in a nice chunk of cash for you. Who wouldn't want to dye their gunslinger hat black or brown for example? People spend enough time getting their 5* equips that I'm pretty sure fifty cents or a dollar per dye wouldn't be too much. Just don't make them bind to the player on purchase. =P
Of course, I'm only mentioning how lucrative I think it would be because I would like to be able to dye stuff. I hope you'll think about it. ^_^

Well there are designated

Well there are designated parts of armour that can change colour depending on the colour you chose when you created your knight.

Any other colours would need to have their own skin or some kind of layering added to them so that they could be dyed beyond that.

Yeah, I'm talking about dyes

Yeah, I'm talking about dyes for the other colors. Is it difficult to layer the different parts? Because I'm pretty sure it's good for the players and therefore, good for the creator(s).

I would imagine it to be only

I would imagine it to be only a matter of editing all of the current skins to allow for additional customisation.
They already have a custom colour system in place.

But that in itself would be a pretty long and annoying process.
