5* Bomber armour, which one?

Hi forum, im here with my 4* "heavy demo" suit set and am unsure which 5* set to upgrade to yet. Looking for some guidance from the veterans out there.
For those who dotn know them ill give a breif description here
Bombastic: Safe choice, high defence
Volcanic: More focused on fire resist
Mad bomber: Sacrafice poison, fire, shock and freeze resist to gain bomb damage and CTR
Im using an wise owlite shield for the status resists, but this can be changed if needs be.

Or I will, once I get the mask.
The bombastic set isn't worth it, the low damage up isn't really noticable.
The volcanic set is best for Vanaduke.
The mad bomber is for those who want to unleash a LOT of damage, and are good enough to not get hit, so the low status resists are not horrible.
With full mad bomber, you have Max CTR on any bomb that is lvl 10, and if that bomb has a damage UV of medium or higher, you have MAX damage on it too.

Im usin mad bomber helm + Vog/radiant for armor as my Farm JK set and using only a minor CTR Ash of Agni lv10 things are pretty awesome already.
Charges very fast cuz im at Ultra CTR atm, just 1 short of the maximum. Med (cap) + Med (lv10 agni) + Low (UV)
I would think using a volcanic would prob be better when doing vanaduke tho, but i never tried using my bomber set when going vana, and instead i used full vog so i wouldnt know.

The Bombing Guide has an
The Bombing Guide has an armor section. The Bombastic Set is very problematic for bombers and is actually a step down from Heavy Demo. CTR is almost always better than a Damage boost for bombers.
One of the most popular flavors of bombing gear is to use the Volcanic Demo Helm with Mad Bomber Suit, granting Very High CTR and Medium Damage. Thus CTR Max with any Level 10 Bomb. Note that the Volcanic Demo Suit only has CTR Low whereas the Helm has CTR Medium. If you get a UV CTR Medium on your bombs then either helm will grant you Max when the bomb reaches Level 10.

Thanks for the advice everyone, i think ill take cultures advice and take Mad bomber for one item and volcanic for the other. (probably mad bomber helm as the items are interchangeable and I prefer bomber helm).

No, they're not
No, they're not interchangeable. Volcanic Helm is better then the Suit, it's the Mad Bomber stuff that's identical. The combo is Volcanic Helm, Mad Bomber Suit. If you take Mad Bomber Helm and Volcanic Suit, all you're doing is gipping yourself out of a point of CTR bonus.

Just volcanic helm is usually enough. Starting your bombs with at least low ctr UV's helps but isn't necessary. Something that boosts your overall damage / gun / sword (and you should have at least one of the two) is usually a better use for the other armor part (deadshot is pretty neat... or virulisk suit... depends on what you're doing).

Volcanic Helm + ?
I love my volcanic demo helm. Fire resist is very useful and I definitely noticed the CTR upgrade. A low damage bonus I wouldn't notice, I don't think, which is another reason to choose volcanic over bombastic. I certainly don't notice much help from my low damage bonus on my sword.
I have a recipe for the mad bomber suit, but I haven't gotten around to crafting it yet because I want to level up a second heavy demo first in case I end up hating the status weaknesses.

Based on the stats here they look to be about even in terms of defense, so the big question is what is more important to you as a bomber: extra damage or lower CTR? If you're going pure bombs, I have to say that you would benefit more from the low CTR than low damage bonus. Between Volcanic and Bombastic I feel like Volcanic should be the clear choice from the two. Mad Bomber, to me, is somewhat silly. If you can manage to get some UVs on your bombs I think staying away from that set would probably be for the best.
I'm not much of a demo myself, so take what I say as you will, but that's pretty much how I see it.
