Woo, my first attempted auction through the forums~ ^^ I did some research before posting this to get an idea of how it goes and what things are worth, so I hope this is alright.

Item: Spur
UV: Attack Speed Increased: Very High

Starting Bid: 5k ce
Minimum Increment: 500 ce
Buyout (Buy Now): 20k ce

Anti-Sniping Clause: Every bid within 30 minutes of end time pushes end time by 30 minutes. If no bids are made before the last 3 hours of the auction, I reserve the right to cancel the auction.
Auction Ends: 7/7, 11pm GMT (6pm EST)

In game name: Xadera

I can also toss in the Arc Razor recipe for an extra 100 ce, if you'd like. Kinda bought it thinking I might wanna use this Spur myself XD

Why, what were you hoping to

Why, what were you hoping to put a starting bid at? XD I figured if nobody made bids until the end of the auction, I'd put it up for less, but if you've got an idea what you want to bid less then I might consider doing it sooner. I just got this bid from the values other similar auctions have gone for (including the buyout).

yeah

i'm not sure what the pricing should be....but this is too high. Actually, i think 10k would be a phenomenal buyout on this item. And luck upon luck, you might get 15k ce...but seems unlikely.

I would have to disagree

I would have to disagree there. An Arc Razor with the same UV was bought out for 15k ce within 2 hours after posting last week, because the seller put it low like that. I doubt the difference between Arc Razor and Spur would be that significant to consider otherwise. I've also seen other swords with the UV regularly go for 35k ce, and I'm sure this one benefits from the attack speed tremendously with its already high output.

The thing is

those swords (brandishes mainly, and perhaps a calibur or two) have 5* upgrades. The arc Razor does not. This is the reason i suspect the arc razor should go for about 1/2 or less of what a 5* capable sword would go for! (i believe a 5* cutter series goes for around 10-15k ce). A good example would be max CTR Troika vs Calibur/brandish.

The Caliber can go for b/w 30-60k...depending, the brandish b/w 20-30k. Whereas a Troika/kamarin (on first page here) is looking to go for around 10-14k CE. And then, the people bidding on it are really just hoping that it gets a 5* bump, such as the lightning looking Kamarin thing in the trailer.

I'm not trying to talk you down on price, as i have no intention of trying to put in a bid. I'm just trying to help you peg down a fair price that you can sell for and feel confident you got a good deal. Obviously tho, try and sell for as high as you can, and come down as necessary.

Yeah, I've done my research

Yeah, I've done my research and saw what things go for ^^ The Brandishes with this UV were actually going for 35k ce pretty quickly at buyout price (not comparing them to CTR). And the Arc Razor went for 15k ce within 2 hours of the auction going up, which leads me to believe that was a rather great price. In the case of the Troika, people probably prefer CTR, which is why the Kamarin is up to 11k ce with over 20 hours left on its auction time and no buyout, whereas the Spur benefits more from ASI with its flourish of swings, I think.

I understand the 4* and 5* difference, though I don't think it's that huge as the 1/2 you're suggesting. The Khorovod is the 4* Troika, yet it still deals more damage than the 5* version of the Calibur, the Leviathan Blade, and also has the same level-up bonuses. Being able to go 5* might seem better at first, but the 2-4* items can still get you through the all tiers and hold its own with the others in tier 3. It's just that the 4* things, like the Khorovod and Winmillion, have a different style (the Winmillion looks pretty awesome, and would probably look even more awesome with the increased speed) that might appeal to other people, since they tend to be more interesting than said Leviathan Blade. Although, I'm not 100% sure about these values, I'm just studying them from the records of the wiki. And, like you said, they may potentially be getting 5* bumps, just like a few weapons already did in an update not too long ago.

But anyways, I think the starting bid is more than fair, though the Buyout may be a little high. If somebody were to come to me and suggest buying it out for something less but still a significant amount, I might take it.

In the end, I think this whole discussion will probably scare off potential buyers, so I'll probably wind up keeping the Spur for myself if it doesn't sell and wait for the 5* bump for awesomeness because I'm sure this looks hella cool with the speed boost.

im just letting you know this

im just letting you know this right now that spurs/arc razors with very high asi pop up on the auction house atleast a few times every other week. And usually get sold for around 100k-300k crowns. In that one case where a really eager buyer didnt care about amount where he paid over twice (750k crowns i believe buyout?) what the item is worth is what you're basing your single price off of. Then I would suggest keeping it yourself.

Ahh, well, I didn't go

Ahh, well, I didn't go through more than a week's worth of back-auctions :P Usually when something sells that fast, it means the price is good, especially on trading forums such as this XD But, if it's really just a "unique case", then this auction will just run out without any bids, not something I'm terribly worried about. I mean, if it's really that much of a bother that you went through to verify, I'm sure it must bring some attention :P And if it doesn't, I've still got a nice Spur XD Though thanks for trying to help ^^

Okay, added onto the anti-sniping clause. I won't be able to view the auction the whole time, so if nobody bids before the last 3 hours of auction I'll probably cancel the auction.

congrats

Xadera, on getting a good price for this weapon. I'm glad you did, i felt bad when you suggested that our earlier exchange may have scared off bidders. Sounds like a good weapon found a good home at a good price. This makes me happy.
