These items are way, way, waaaay too overpowered in Tier 3.

Vog Cub: This set has a total of Very High attack speed, which is an insane defensive and offensive advantage for swordsmen. It also set has resistance to the most common status effect (fire), and defense against the most dangerous damage type outside of fiend strata (elemental). It doesn't have A SINGLE status penalty, while some other offensive sets like Mad Bomber and Chaos have penalties against several statuses. It needs be given a vulnerability to freezing, and attack speed needs to be lowered from Medium to Low on each item.

Owlite: Elemental attacks hit the hardest, so having elemental resistance makes this one of the most useful general-purpose shields. On top of that, it has defense against two common and dangerous status effects. Normal defense needs to be lowered or replaced with shadow defense, to make it merely a useful shield instead of a shield that's better than almost every other shield.

You're comparing Mad bomber,

You're comparing Mad bomber, a purely offensive set, to the rounded Vog set. Try Volcanic Demo.

Ok yeah, I would argue that

Ok yeah, I would argue that medium bomb CTR is much less of a bonus than very high sword ASI on the whole set. The problem is also that sets like Volcanic Salamander or Volcanic Plate are worse no matter which weapons you are using.

Owlite is fine.

I think owlite is fine as it is. It's got a lot of elemental defense, but that's similar to the other shields with other types. It's balanced by virtue of there being lots of piercing and shadow damage now. Its health also isn't super high compared to other 5* shields.

I have no experience with Vog Cub, so I can't speak as to whether that's overpowered, but I do think it would make sense if it had a freeze weakness. And if the ASI bonus is too high, it could be knocked down from medium to low on one or both pieces.

Some times it gets really

Some times it gets really hard to tell if someone is joking or being serious. Guess I'll treat it seriously since other people seem to be giving serious replies.

That people think Vog Cub is overpowered is not due to the Armor itself, you look at most 5* armors and you see that they have 2 defenses with one status resist, or more status resists at the cost of a status penalty and some sort of bonus. Almost all armors are built like this. The fact that you think Vog is overpowered lies not with the armor itself but with the predominance of monsters that use fire or elemental attacks. Why nerf an armor that is built in the same way as every other armor? Does that even make sense? By the way, I have Vog Cub and the attack speed increase is barely noticeable whereas the damage increase from the skolver set is huge. Though the bonuses really do depend on an individual's playstyle more than anything else. A pure bomber would have no use for a Vog Cub set but the damage bonus vs. slimes would apply to his bombs and so would the CTR from Volcanic demo.

Also Silty, you're arguing that the bonus from an entire set is greater than the bonus from a single piece, so um, what were you thinking?

it's not the vog and the owlite that are Overpowered

it'sj just the other armors that are underperforming compared to those items, take the chaos cloak instead,it sucks in every possible way,the items in this games are completely umbalanced and the funny thing is that the developers dont listen the community at all,50% of the SK gear is crap,30% is acceptable and the restant 20% is overpowered, and this issues exist till the SK launch -_-'

Not to derail, but volcanic

Not to derail, but volcanic demo helm has medium bomb CTR. The suit has low bomb CTR, oddly enough, it may be an oversight but if you wore both you'd only need CTR:low on your bomb to reach max, which is what 4k crowns for a CTR:low haze bomb? Perfectly viable. Mad bomber is really only good if you utilize the damage boosting component while bombing, in which case it is absolutely worth it and would be overpowered without the drawbacks.

If you like a mix of weapon types, salamander suit would be fairly useful if trying to avoid fire, yeah its a small niche but the only reason fire resist is so popular is from FSC. If the only T3 boss, or any boss, was in a frost strata you'd be complaining about skolver being overpowered (skolver gives you about 26% damage increase combined from both pieces). Frost can literally take you from max to zero in a group without a status cure, fire WISHES it could sneak up on you and stick you in place only to watch your impending demise and chuckle in triumph!

In any case, to be adequately prepared you're going to need multiple armor sets anyways. Some sets do need some love I'll admit, but a lot of stuff is only popular because of attainability or social aspects like word of mouth or recommendations or "requirements" or whatever it could be. Always improvements to be made, and I don't think nerfs are good unless absolutely necessary.
