Sealed Sword - Keep or Sell?

Well I just got a Sealed sword but I already have a Vile Striker and was wondering if it was worth going through the trouble of upgrading it or if I should sell it to upgrade all my other things which I have been needing to do for awhile. Also how much do Sealed Swords normally go for?

Yeah I need the CE pretty badly but I also wouldn't be able to get Sun Silver in anywhere near a reasonable time.
I would say your decision should come down to whether or not you need the CE. If you like the idea of having an Avenger I would keep the sword. I currently have an Avenger and I really like it and think it's a great weapon choice. However, sealed swords sell for around 500 CE and that's a signifigant ammount of juice. The Faust line is another option and doesn't require sunsilver although I don't know how appealing self cursing is to you. Ultimately the choice is yours though.
Keep in mind that self curse only happens if you use the charge attack and it still depends on chance, it have a small chance to curse monsters on normal attack but the curse do next to nothing on the mobs anyway.
Magus makes a good point. I just brought up the self cursing because that seems to be the biggest negative to the Faust line.

Divine Avenger - Is great, but need sunsilver so I would recommend going the Faust line and make a Graun Faust
Positives of Graun Faust -
High damage vs Slime, and gremlins and a few other monsters. I would not recommend using the charge attack if you are using fallen armor since it will be a pain if your cursed. If you ever solo or just go do a dungeon with some unskilled players your faust will clear the way so that dungeon will feel like the Firefly (beginners dungeon).
Faust is faster than Avenger series.
Of course, it sometimes curses you and enemies if you charge attack.
If you go down the Faust route I recommend you get Seraphic Mail and Helm and make Valkyrie set (requires sunsilver), unless theres an even less cost efficient curse resistent armor.

Whoa Hiro. You're waaay off.
The easier way to get curse resistance would to get the Silvermail (4* w/ no precursor so its easier) OR the Divine set. They both provide curse resistance so you dont get cursed as long..
Actually, seraphic line is more desirable because of the universal high dmg bonus.

I'd also like to note the Faust line has a chance to curse mobs on BOTH normal and charge attacks. The curse on yourself, however, only comes from a chance when charge attacking.
On the mobs that curse actually does anything too - its really handy because they kill themselves (I know wolvers used to be affected by it, not sure if they still are).
Yea i can confirm that the faust/gran faust curses effect all monsters now. It works nicely too.
I'm not sure how much Sealed Swords go for now, but since you can buy them from the Token Trader I don't imagine it would be worth selling unless you needed the CE/Crowns.
The Divine Avenger is currently one of the better swords in the game, as well.
It does need a Sun Silver to craft, but it's pretty much the only thing worth using one on.
It's entirely up to you what you do with it, though.
You could check the Bazaar and see what prices Sealed Swords go for, if you do want to sell it.
