After you buy all the stuff from a boss token set, the rest can be dumped somewhere, for Jelly you've got rock salt, the others could do with a single exclusive material as well.
Give all Boss tokens a fallback purchase.

All materials that can be bought with Boss tokens were recently removed with an update... so I doubt they'll be putting that back in. Not sure why rock salt is still there...

Yeah
Particularly as you can buy Rock Salt with Primal Sparks, too, which are much more common than Jelly Gems.
You can buy more gear and either sell it to the NPC vendors or try to get a UV upgrading it for your own use.
I don't think anything needs to change regarding existing boss tokens.
