Dear Spiral Knights development team and community,

I was wondering if it would be possible to have the Clockwork Knight series make some sort of cameo appearance in Spiral Knights.

I'll leave exactly what that would be up to you.

Clockwork Knight was an interesting platforming series. It wasn't very innovative and it didn't have longevity in gameplay, but it was pretty good for its time. Its themes find themselves resonating with popular series such as Toy Story and Kingdom Hearts. In fact, Clockwork Knight was released in America around the time that Toy Story was released and Pepper was wielding a keyblade long before Sora was born!

I can't believe only one ancient thread exists about this. I went on another nostalgia trip and started thinking about old games I've played, and I can't believe the game has no references to CLOCKWORK KNIGHT, when, you know, the game is about Knights going into the Clockworks.

SEGA rereleasing the game on Steam would be the perfect opportunity for that. Maybe through the blade or the helm/armor. Or both.

His helmet would work so well for this game too, given the mustache and furry eyebrow fetish this game has. Plus his key rapier would be a fun weapon, although I think the OP makes a good point in that people might mistake his keysword as a reference to Kingdom Hearts.
