I am three days old in this game already and I got 13k CR thanks to the help of my guild gearing me up to do tier 1 up to tier 2, but I still want to know other ways to make quick money (CRs). I see all these 5* gear and I just want to get them after I checked the wiki for them. I've been told to get recipes and get the mats for myself, but that would make me spend some money for the runs to get the materials. What do you guys suggest?

Sell your virginity online.

Sell your virginity online.

Thing is: This game relates to real life in a sense that THERE IS NO EASY MONEY.

the only way is to buy CE

the only way is to buy CE with real cash.. otherwise to get 5 star gear just enjoy the game and it will come eventually from playing... really there is no need to rush to the end game progressing is fun.

The only surefire quick way

The only surefire quick way is to buy CE with your money then sell it. 20 dollars at current CE prices will get you 375k in crowns. other than that you can do boss runs to make it "cheaper" to get armor and weapons, the Sealed Sword and Barbarous Thorn shield are pretty popular and for a good reason.

Pretty much once you get to tier 2 you'll probably want to do Royal Jelly Palace levels to get crowns since I think they give out the most crowns consistently. Always look for arenas though, those are great for crowns.

"then from then on its easy money on tier 3"

I gotta disagree with this one, especially after previous patch.

T3 just simply worth because of materials, but since materials worth nothing nowadays (I havent checked AH yet, but even before patch reaper rib got 200 cr buyout lol)

it's better to do T1/T2 with same amount of crowns/tokens but faster time.

note: they have small chance of droping equipments as well if u're hoping for those in T3 :v (less price again since there's unbinding house)

Take your time

You only just started the game, so take your time to enjoy it and see what else there is to offer. I'd say after a week or two, you can consider paying for some ce if you want. I only bought a little and I don't think I need to buy anymore, it's going great for me!

Because there is no level system, people will be impatient and want the best gear but take it slow I reckon.

Track when the CE prices are

Track when the CE prices are low and when they are highest. They tend to swing about 3000CR +/- depending on the time of day. If I see it lower than 4k I buy as much as I can and wait until the price goes back up then sell all but what I need to play that session and craft what I need.

Over all it has helped me in my quest to get a full set of 4* gear. Play the CE market and the AH. If you see rare or uncommon items (i.e. stuff that doesn't have 10+ pages in the AH) buy the cheaper lots of it and resell it at a profit. This helps things trickle down. Also avoid using the buy now option unless you really need something and someone is in a bidding war with you. You save a lot of money by waiting.

The last thing is never, and I mean never, revive more than once with energy unless you are at a boss fight or some such. It is such a waste. On average 1 CE is worth anywhere from 300-700CR each, so spending 5 alone is costly. So unless you know you're going to get more than 1500-3500CR (and the top end of that is highly unlikely by any means) you're better off starting the dungeon over than paying out to revive.

Remember:

-Avoid Buy Now unless necessary, and shoot for auctions that start low that have zero bids.
-Pay attention to the going rate of CE and buy in low periods and sell when the price is high.
-Construct everything you can with materials you've found.
-Avoid respawning whenever you can.
-And finally, play as a team. Don't hog the healing potions as you're going to need someone to revive you and they may be at a half-bar.

@mshelton5000: "Track when the CE prices are low and when they are highest. They tend to swing about 3000CR +/- depending on the time of day. "

...What? Have you not been playing for a month? CE was stable at about 6.5k Crowns, and now it's stable around 5k, it hasn't been as low as 4k for over a month.

Arenas give more crowns (and are harder) than regular levels, graveyards seem to as well. It's totally possible to keep playing and being able to pay for energy (with crowns) just by playing well.

Lower areas in a tier (after the midway point) pay noticeably better than depths before the midway point. Meaning: in tier 1, depths 1, 2 and 3 pay less than depths 5, 6 and 7.

But just keep in mind what they were saying earlier ^, either pay to get it fast or play to get it steadily.
