i was checking my fire resistance lately i get 6s fire with 0star set
when i used my vog cub cap it decreased to 5s
i used my skolver with high fire resist it decresed again to 4s
finally i used the owlite and it still 4s
i thought it maybe the max defense so i used all 0star set with the grey owlite shield and i get fired for 6s which is the same with the proto shield
and i figured that in the gear icon the shield status is not added there kindly check that bug and thank you

and sorry for my english

Not a bug =/

Shield stats only work if the shield is up. The fire bonus on owlite just means that the shield will take longer to break when standing in fire. Shield bonuses have nothing to do with the overall bonus of your player; therefore shields don't lower the fire conter.

I think it's ok

Guess it's ok, i mean you would have too high resists then. Also, if my Shield has more resists it holds longer. If you want resists at yourself that means you think you get hit, but getting hit is not what you should looking for.

With Skelly Shield i can walk though Thorns pretty easily^^

When on fire you still take

When on fire you still take the same damage with owlite as you would with another shield even when the shield is up.
The shields seem useless and having a fire/ele one gives 1 extra hit reduction.
The only good shield is the thorn one.

But try using the Dark thorn

But try using the Dark thorn shield against a hail of Gun puppy bullets. The difference a lot more noticeable in T3. The right tool for the right job.
