If you're like me and you buy things for a cheap price and sell things for a potentially higher price, you end up with a massive list of items you're bidding on. Recently, I've been finding it somewhat annoying to have "Ended" auctions taking up space or even auctions you don't want to bid on anymore.

I know there's already an auto-delete feature that deletes your past bids after a set amount of time, but I was thinking it would be really useful to have a "Remove" button at the bottom so you can get rid of bids whenever you please.

I think this would make the game more user-friendly and less stressful (even though it isn't all that stressful).

Not like an actual bid

In real life and in every other website or game with bids, You can't take back a bid that you've already made, that would just be mean to the seller, after seeing that great bid he just got, he's so happy, then the bid is taken back, that could make someone feel terrible.

I think you only mean you

I think you only mean you want to remove inactive bids, after the auction has ended or you've been outbid. If so, then sure, as that's only a UI change. Changing the underlying auction mechanism, and not just the UI, would be more of a problem.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure that

Yeah, I'm pretty sure that they only want to be able to remove the ended/outbid bids which are just taking up space.

Yep

Totally. Pojo, they're only talking about the list of 'your bids' where the auction has already ended. This is about being able to remove inactive bid tabs, not taking back a bidding price.

Anyway, I agree with this. I sometimes get confused on my own bid screen as to what is till on and what isn't before I can line up the yellow writing. This is a great suggestion.

Thanks

Thanks for agreeing with me on this, guys. Now I know I'm not the only one getting peeved at the abnormally large list of irrelevant bids I don't need to see anymore.

gerryw137, I agree with your statement about how your past bids can help you bid in the future, but there's always the bids that you don't need because someone else "bought now" so it's pretty pointless to have on the list.

And Pojo267, as some of them already said, I was only talking about ended bids and ones that you've been outbidded on and you don't feel the need to bid on it again.

Thanks for the feedback again.

This happened to me last week

This happened to me last week when I had over 100 or so auctions ended. Really would be useful. +1 support.

I came into the thread worried you were talking about taking your money back though, which wouldn't be a good thing.

Yep

I agree. I think you can only delete the bids that you have been outbid or has ended. I have been buying lots of stuff and I get annoyed when I see something I really want on "My Bids" and find out that it is Ended. I want to delete them when they are finish so I don't get confused.

+1

Agreed

This would be great. It's annoying how it is now.

Maybe instead of a remove button like the OP suggested, a sorting drop down would also be useful or some kind of similar filter...
