Here I am again with my long-shot ideas:

How about a Spiral Knights app for iPhone and/or Android? It wouldn't be an app where you can play the game, but rather an app where you could do everything surrounding the game. Here are some possible functions that I thought of:

Being able to check your mist energy, and able to check prices of CE, buy and sell
Having an encyclopedia, so to speak, of equipment, enemies, etc. (basically like a mobile version of the wiki)
A Spiral Knights inbox for yourself and your guild (being able to check your messages, send messages, and have a general chat board for your guild)
Check the Auction House (but not able to post or bid, because that would drastically decrease the player traffic)
Check and contribute to the forums

As a part-time programmer, I realize this is a daunting task. Maybe if some of these were in separate apps it might work more efficiently.

BTW, I thought of this idea when I realized that, when I wasn't on my computer, I wanted to know how my auctions were doing or check to see if I could alchemize some item or another.

I'd like to see this, even

I'd like to see this, even though I don't have a smartphone, and i'd also like to see a desktop widget - current CE/ME using the ingame HUD graphics, current CE price below that (with customisable update rate) and how many guild members are currently online (if less than x, customisable, display names)

But that would take time spent on working the game and use it on the app. It really is a fine balance between making the app and working on the game. Wait a minute. How many people can OOO spare on actaully making the app? Do we even know anything about the inner workings of OOO?
