PvP: Getting "caught" on corners

Seems to be a common issue. When trying to run around corners, a lot of the time players will get "hooked" on the corner, and can't move for a second or two.

In a game of this sort, naturally that delay will get you killed a lot.

Please try to find a way to fix this problem.

I know what you mean. It's an issue, but not exactaly a bug. I think tile based pac man style movement like in the original bomberman would fix this.

Yeah, I've gotten the feeling

Yeah, I've gotten the feeling that it's because we're not limited to moving in straight lines, even though that's the playfield. They didn't change how movement is coded for this, so we could still technically move in all directions. If you hit a corner not quite on the straight, you can get caught. It sucks--they would either need to make some sort of x-y grid-limited movement scheme for Blast Network, or we just have to be more careful.

Lag issue. Add this on top of

Lag issue. Add this on top of the rest. No fix in the visible future since game isn't getting European, Australian and Asian servers. They're US only. Or so I heard.
