Yea after this most recent update (the new monsters one) my Game Client went down the toilet.

The reason: IT WAS REALLY SLOW TO "DOWNLOAD" THE UPDATE!

So I'm gonna be off of Spiral Knights, until I can get a good enough computer that can load the game, so hopefully a few months... but who knows.

I'll check back every once and a while, and see how things go for the updates... (and try to download SK again... and see...)

Well this is goodbye for now...

How come?

Well I have a worse-than-terrible connection, but I still be able to download the updates and all.
Are you sure that the download part is the problem?
I only noticed that the patching and validating parts are extremely slow (take forever to load, and they often freeze at 100%)
If that is your case, I recommend closing the updater and start the game (gonna take a while to load, and it might freeze your computer for no longer than 5-6 mins)

Usually when mmo's take too long for me to update I just download the update before I head off to school so by time I get home the update will already be done.

It was the internet

My internet connection SUCKED!!!!

the Download Speed was: .08 MBPS (which is horrible....)

now its up to about 22 MBPS which is much much faster and better so I'm gonna try again and see what happens...

if so I'll see you in game if not I'll try Friday :3
