You could just do the same

You could just do the same thing as for cr/CE, and refer to one as GuM and the other as GaM or just GM.

But that's the point, Game

But that's the point, Game Master and Guild Master not only share a word, but the same abbreviation. GM.

Crowns and Crystal Energy do not and can be easily identified with two letters.

Alternatively, you could just

Alternatively, you could just type out 'Guild Master'. : )

I think it's fine personally, and just takes a couple seconds to type out, if that. General Motors happens to share the same initials, but you wouldn't ask three rings to change the name of their Game Masters because someone confused that with talk of a new car.

Abbreviations can always be confusing - I think the best solution is to spell the words in their entirety!

This is the same with every

This is the same with every game. They arent gonna change it just for SK. It isn't exactly hard to work it out if it is in context.

Um, what other games?

In other games, like World of Warcraft and Everquest, they are called Guild Leaders for this very reason. In fact, in Ragnarok Online it is a ban-able offense to refer to yourself as a GM instead of a GL.
