This is the probably one of the few MMORPG with ambiguous gender. I don't want that to go away. :D
"Now I'm in a Fencing Jacket with Nameless Hat and everyone refers to me as a he.
Oh wait, isn't 'he' the default pronoun for ambiguous gender people? Crud. I hate English."
(P.S. The upcoming Tera Online's beaver-like race is also going to be ambiguous BTW.)
I don't care weather you're a girl or a guy. You're a fellow knight, go kill yourself trying to defeat Vanaduke! If you're posting gender nonsense, you have too much free time!
The Flamebreak armor, Dragonmail, Valkyrie/the fallen, even Salamander armor are all female looking from either hips and skirts to twin tails and ponytails. I always default to calling those armor types girls, even if the players don't realize it. Infact, recently one of my guildmates asked me "How did you know those two were girls?" ... Because of the fact their characters are wearing Valkyrie and Fallen armor.
So the armor exists, but you're too busy seeing a majority of Wolver armor to notice the difference. If anything, they should make better stats on armor so players would choose something other then the Vog Owlite Leviathan combo, as not everyone wants to put "Junk" armor to 5 stars just to use as a costume.
i dont know about you guys but i thought we were all robots man and last time i checked none of my electronics were male or female well other than my alarm clock must be a woman it annoys the [crap] out of me
This is an MMO. Even if there's an option to make your character have a more defined gender you'll still be right the majority of the time if you assume that every player is male. Unless they have some really obvious feminine name that no guy would ever pick.
More seriously, I'm all for more variety in armour appearance. +1
Blegghh. I'm with FernPanda on this; the SK's mostly ambiguous gender approach is a real strong point of the design.
they have many armor and helm sets which are obviously for a specific gender. take dragon scale mail, for ex. OBVIOUSLY for girls.
