So I end up joining an Arena fight, and I'm fulllllll bombed up, including the wonderfully two-edged Mad Bomber helm. There's kind of a massacre goin on, as I come in to the 1st arena and there's bodies all over. :(

Welp, we get to the last arena and there's a wipe. I CE rev myself (as it's my first and I have some mist to spend), and start doing the bomber dance amongst the howlitzers. I guess 2 people got bored of Fabians Tactic, so they Haven'd out.

oh, it got me. :( Everything was going great, and I had just lit every mecha-knight on fire .They were all out for my butt for sure. I clipped the mineral and just...stayed there. I was summarily surrounded and pulped into a bloody mass. The poor guy who was left clipped the same mineral and died just like me.

This isn't the first time it's happened to me, unfortunately. I'm starting to wish that mined crystals were noclip like other pickups.

Oh yes, happened to me too.

Oh yes, happened to me too. Went to help a guild member out, got caught by a mineral left by someone at the bottom gate. I didn't even notice it until I realized I wasn't moving. :(

Problem is, they are things that require an "action" to pickup. So, just like keys, they can block you. It totally sucks.

The gate is the issue, really...

What sucks is how much your view is obstructed by the lower gate in Arenas.

I've always been of the opinion the gate should be made translucent when you step on the party button.
I've gotten mobbed there and been unable to tell which way to go or what to do so many times I just avoid running by that part of the area unless absolutely necessary.

+1 on debianlinux. Not only

+1 on debianlinux. Not only do I get hung up on random junk down behind the gates, but the big puppy spawn sometimes puts one right next to the gate, not a block or two away from it. I'll be running along and lock up against an invisible puppy who shoots me in the face, point-blank.

Suggestion time, I think.
