I think it would be cool if you could preview gear at the AH like you can at vendors, like if you're getting costume items, you could see how it looks with your stuff. What do you guys think?

Agreed. Fully. Especially with the costume items, it'd be awesome to see how your character looks with a certain item, or equipment set when the recipes are far and few between, especially getting a complete set to preview all at once.
