Today I was trying to do a Roarmulus twin run. I thought I was going to have a great time with some randoms and make a little bit of loot along the way. Everything was going ok until I appear twenty blocks away from my current position dead apparently blown up by missles. One of my teamates revives me and we go along happily killing mobs. However much to my annoyance I can't seem to get past the rockets because I have no idea where I am, one second im at the bottom of a hallway the next I'am at the top of it dead yet again. I struggle along as the lag gradually lessens. It peaks at times but overall its manageable.

We go fight the twins. Its alright except for the fact that I my attacks more than usually have no affect on the mobs. Even after my entire team dies I decide to revive my self to give us one last chance. We were so close to winning. As soon as I revive I am space warped across the field and getting blasted to bits by missle fire. Luckily I could rez both of my teamates after the lag barley gives me enough information to find their bodies. We win I can live with the lag that I experienced so far. I tell myself no biggy this stuff happens sometimes.

We go up to collect our treasure satisfied about our narrow victory over the Roarmulus twins. As I yet again appolagize for the lag they were probably rolling their eyes in their heads at me thinking I was just making excuses the whole time. (Just like some of you are probably doing now.) That's when the hilarity of the whole thing settles in. As I approach a crystal I notice I begin to move sluggishly slow. I type " whats going on" only to see the words appear ten seconds after. As I try to find the elevator I can see their delayed messages appear. While talking I tell them it can't be my computer its never had a problem on this magnitude ever before. One of them says its the servers. I try to stop moving, to no avail the second I even touch the keyboard to move I get warped 20 blocks away. How is that even possible? So for like five minutes I try to find the elevator as I warp and slow down freakishly slow all over the place. Eventually I happen to hit the elevator. Now I've been trying for at least ten minutes to log back in but I can't.

The hilarious thing is that this didn't happen when all the action and lag inducing graphics were in the game. It happened when I was about to enter an elevator. As we all know there is nothing about elevators to induce lag of the likes of which I have never seen before.

I don't mean to nag or anything. I just want the servers to be able to keep me playing the game. I don't even care about the energy I lost anymore. I just think its kinda ridiculous when I'am lagging in a generally (moving) graphics free zone to the point where I might as well be blindfolded.

I know I'am not the only one. Many a time when a player with full health suddenly dies as they run across every possible spike in the floor the culprit is always found to be lag. I know its not soley my or other peoples computers because the majority of them say the lag worsens during nightime. The time when the servers are most jam packed full of players.

I love you Three OOO this is truly an awesome game I just want myself and others to be able to play it and have a good time can you please do something about the servers?

I too have had many times

I too have had many times when I'm charging my weapon and avoiding mobs only to be lag-pulled into the middle of a bed of spikes or walk to avoid something then be pulled backwards into it (or the sword of a hyperactive mecha knight)

I agree that more attention needs to be paid to the servers.

I think its the servers

I think its the servers because generally everyone believes that the lag gets worse during night time. Its kinda true too, I see alot more players dying from instances where they run into a group of mobs without knowing it or from running over spikes during the night. I have even been in groups where the whole team was wiped during a ten second peak in lag (afterwards they all complain about the lag). I believe the lag is noticably worse during night because there are many more players logged in during night time. If this is the case then that leads me to believe that this is a server related issue.

Maybe the incident I mentioned above was just me, I can't really say for sure. One thing I do know is that lag becomes a problem for many players as the night progresses. I find it hard to believe that it is just my internet connection that is to blame when many players complain about lag issues. Especially when every time I complain about lag they always say its because its night time and that more players are logged on.
