So, I tried to install Spiral Knights today, I used the "Technical Difficulties" link for download because I didn't feel like updating my plugins.
It downloaded fine, but when I installed it it refused to go in the folder I told it to. I then tried to download it in the C drive, under no folders. It downloaded and then came up with this:

And it won't work.

What do I need to do?

Have you tired completely

Have you tried completely uninstalling/reinstalling Java? Going by that picture that is most likely where the problem lies. Also, if you're getting that problem still, try making sure you do not have a security progam that could be blocking those mentioned files.

I installed it with the

I installed it with the "having issues" link, so Java shouldn't have been the issue. I got it to work by updating Java and doing it the normal way. Apparently their "if you have issues use this" version doesn't work.

Actually, all versions of the

Actually, all versions of the game require the latest version of Java except for the Steam version----Steam maintains its own Java.
Updating Java should have fixed both the browser version and desktop client for you.
