getting band for copy pasting text in the chat window WTF?

How is this fair im using copy past to type what im trying to sell in the text window, which to my knowledge is not agents the rules. As everyone and there dog is doing the dam same. No one is typing it out each time when looking for something to buy or sell and they ban me this is not on! and totally unfair.
how is it fair that i get band when everyone is doing the exact same thing?

what is this trade chat you speak of? i used /zone or /shout so what did i do wrong here? Everyone doing the same so they singled me out, not even giving me a warning. A simple message say can you stop pasting so often this is a warning continue and you will be temporally band.
How hard is it for a gm to do that really?
i feel Ive been wrongly treated not even give a chance to know i was doing wrong punished for not knowing what i was doing was agent the rule which again to my knowledge is not.

/2 or /trade. First /join 2 then start trading. it's heavily spammed with sales.
You were probably posting a lot. Like, a LOT a lot. Did you pay attention to anyone telling you to stop spamming in the zone? I'm sure there was at least one person who chose to tell you instead of complaining or ignoring.
Now you know. When your ban is lifted, you can spam the /2 channel to your hearts content with all the other sale spammers.

As one of my parents found out the hard way as a teen... ignorance of the law does not hold you unaccountable for breaking it, or in your case a rule instead of a law. You broke a rule, spamming, and got a temporary ban for it. Most likely it is for only a day or 2. Don't break it again and use the trade chat for future sales. Most people do not care about the occasional sale showing up in zone/local, but when it looks like this...
Z: something
X: WTS blah blah
X: WTS blah blah
X: WTS blah blah
X: WTS blah blah
[1] Y: use trade chat
X: WTS blah blah
X: WTS blah blah
Z: something
... then people justly get annoyed.

first thing im new to this game about 2 weeks now and i had no idea that /trade or /2 even existed i just sore everyone pasting there chat ever as /shout or as /zone (yellow text) so to me that seam like there was no issue with doing the same.
second i did not get a single message from the Gm tell me to stop not a single one no a please stop or your be band, nothing! so they just banded me with no warning dose that seam fair to you?
im a valid costume who put money into this game in the shout 2 week playing it probably put in like £50 and this is how they treat there costumer no warning no please stop flooding the chat and use /2 or /trade nothing!.
How hard is it for a GM to do that before hitting the ban bottom.

Banned not band, maybe that s why...

I want to say that the amount of money you put into something shouldn't change how the law treats you... but if no warnings were given, I can sympathise a little.
As far as I know, usually there are no bans unless the player has been asked to stop (in a polite way). Most likely you chose to ignore players who were giving you a fair warning and the GM that got the chatlog saw those. If you still say you didn't see ANY warning: well, maybe there was too much spam in the chat and you didn't pay much attention to what's scrolling away there ;)

@tommyho
"Banned not band, maybe that s why..."
should be
"Banned, not band. Maybe that's why..."
You should be banned for that, right?
i used /zone or /shout so what did i do wrong here?
Using /zone is part of what you did wrong. That chat channel, also known as /1, is used for general chat, not for trading.

Dirt's right but they should give warnings.
Also if you yell out or use /zone to say that you want to sell something more than three to five times in a Haven (exception to Haven 1 for obvious reasons) Then there's a good chance that no one there is going to buy what you're selling.
@Gwen
I totally agree
@Grayskull
Can you please try to use proper grammar and spelling when in the Forums? I mean It makes you look over what you typed so there shouldn't be a need to type like that. One or two mistakes is fine, but NOT talking as if this is in-game quick chat.

Yeah, sure, warnings are nice, but OOO isn't exactly hosting an army of GMs. Each only has a limited amount of time alloted to each of many tasks one can presume they have.
If they have to actually engage with each and every subject of complaint then... Well, time adds up, and reduces overall productivity.
Besides, spamming is common. I'd think there's plenty of complaints for spam, so then I repeat my argument; warnings are counterproductive.
The way I see it, it's the player's choice to warn you before complaining. And if he did and you just missed or ignored it, then that's too bad.
Also, just because others are doing something, that does not mean you should follow their example. Especially since the other spammers are probably as disliked as you were.
That said, yes, a ban is harsh, but be glad it's (probably?) temporary, learn from it, consult the rules for future reference, and move on.
And a tip for making your stuff less spammy:
Wait before reposting, at the very least 30 seconds. Local traffic isn't high enough that you need to advertise every 5 seconds. The same people will see your message, so it's pointless.
Probably because you weren't using the trade chat so its considered spam.
