everytime i try to open the game it says java binary stopped working and closes or after that it won't even open again till after i restart pc, I've tried several different versions of java including jres and jdks and the same thing every time it just fails to lauch. plz help.

i also noticed its making spiral in appsdata ever since i installed steam and it did't work so i uninstalled but b4 steam it did't go in apps.

thats the launcher.log,
thats the launcher.log, your looking for projectx.log in the same folder.
Keep in mind that the standalone client runs in that directory, and Steam stores its version of the game in the steamapps folder. If you launch it directly off the website, then it uses \appdata\locallow\ instead.
Its the same set of files, but the launching method and location is important since that is where the game is going to generate logs at.
