You can find online videos about spiral knights preview, which had:
- 6 knight parties
- lots of funny puzzles, like running in front of explosive blocks that are blowing up right behind you
- different levels
- giant turtle

I don't care about 6 knight parties, 4 knights is laggy enough IMO. But if you want a "new" boss - bring back the damn turtle! Or, at least, re-use its model. It looks great!
Or, at least, make it a mini-boss, like trojan. Or a mini-boss on a specific level, like ToxiBig (which is no fun - he just dies too fast).

The thing is: I only saw it

The thing is: I only saw it once in a preview video. Looked detailed and well made, so why not?
As a suggestion: we can have it as a tier 1 or tier 3 boss. If there are too many bosses, we can always have different bosses at different gates that shuffle over time. Like, Jelly King and Roarmulus twins are available now, tomorrow its Roarmulus Twins and tier 2 boss 3, the next day its boss 3 and Jelly King and so on.

After completing a tier 3 run I finally understand why people as for more bosses. Vanaduke takes 10+ minutes, is pretty damn hard, other gates don't offer anything special. After a while it simply gets boring.
