If it takes 10 energy to go down, what happens if you can't afford to go down to the next level while out in a dungeon?

Press esc and choose "Return
Press esc and choose "Return to ----" to exit a dungeon.

Or reach an elevator with less than 10 energy, and the game will tell you you can't continue and take you back to town.

It has lil to offer, you are better off just goto haven once you finished the tutorials.
But yes, the ----- would be replaced by the town that you entered the arcade from or Haven.

Maybe I'm still fumbling around with the controls.
Maybe I'm learning how to use bombs for fun and profit
Maybe I haven't finished the sparrow dungeon yet
You either exit the dungeon, buy more energy, or have someone put you on their energy tab which means you won't have to pay for elevator trips for this round.
