I'm not sure if this is a bug or intended, but I find it rather annoying:

When using the Striker Dash ability in Lockdown, your velocity is based mostly on the movement keys, but also partially on your facing. Dashing forward is faster, dashing backwards is slower, and if you try to dash sideways you "drift" in the direction you are facing. This makes it unusually difficult to control where you're going, and I've died more than once because my retreat was slowed by my failure to turn around while dashing away.

It's a jetpack attached to your back. Clearly it's going to propel you forward.

I can't tell whether you're attempting humor or persuasion, but I'm afraid the effect is lost on me in either case. It doesn't look like a jet pack to me, that's definitely not how it currently works (though determining direction 100% based on facing might actually be better than the current hybrid approach), and in any case graphics should be determined by gameplay and not the other way around.
