It would be cool if a new shield token unlock from say the next teir 3 boss is shield similar to the striker shield in lockdown! imagine playing the clockworks zooming around! and if the idea is overpowered it could stop at 3 star kind of like the swiftstrike buckler so that way pro players can zoom through tier 1!

u would need to make these accessible to everyone relatively easy or else it will become "you either go guardian or i will kick you"
that aside both the mechanics and the equipment need to be rebalanced for pve.... Recon alone would easily outsmart the enemy AI
Also, there could be a guardian shield and a recon shield. The problem is that then you would have these people who are great compared to the rest, but since they would have no actual shield, that would balance it out.
