It's like this everywhere. The game is still playable, but it's visual chaos.

Using Windows 7, and I'm logging in via Steam.

I'd imagine a reinstall would fix this - looks like your resources got corrupted/deleted

Oh, that's just the leftovers

Oh, that's just the leftovers from the Snipe's tetris game. It's called the Arcade for a reason, you know. Pay it no mind.

Actually, I've seen that happen to someone before. Reinstalling fixed it for them, so yeah.

Since you have Steam, you can

Since you have Steam, you can fix your resources without re-installing. If you go to the library, right click the game, and go to properties, somewhere in there will be a button to check the game cache for errors and rebuild it if necessary. Use that.

The game cache verification

The game cache verification is based on the august version of the client, so all its going to do is roll it back and can be problematic if your one of those that can't fetch digest.txt correctly.

A cleaner solution is to go into the SK folder under steamapps and delete the entire \rsrc\ folder. This will force the launcher to redownload a jar archive containing the main graphic resources and unpack it. This is preferable to rolling it back since its directly grabbing the most updated files, which it'll end up doing anyway, but without the risk of the delta patches being screwed up on the binary and code files.
