I'm starting to get a little annoyed with my forum login cookies expiring almost every day. For example, I was just a few moments ago writing a post about dynamic level scaling, and between the time I started the post and when I hit "save" my login expired and threw me to an error page. Luckily I didn't lose the post, but it was an annoyance none the less.

Most forum systems these days will refresh login cookies (which themselves would otherwise expire in a day or two) on each visit, with a ~1 month limit on any given session. So, if you visit the site with any regularity, you'll only see a login prompt once a month. SK forums, on the other hand, seem to just log me out after 24 or 48 hours or something when the cookies expire, without any sort of refreshing when I visit.
