Basically, there would be a bank in Haven. You could deposit crowns and you would get a 2% interest rate. You can only deposit up to 50,000 crowns in your bank.

So with 50,000 Crowns in your bank, you'd get 1,000 crowns per day as your interest. I don't think EVERYONE will be willing to let 50k sit in their bank, but it lets us penny savers get a few extra coins at the end of the day.

i know you have been a member for sometime now... i just can't believe in all that time you would suggest devaluing crowns with bank interest. if free crowns are in it for just having money in the bank THEY WILL keep money in the bank.

aside from that couldnt u just bumped one of these

Eh

I'm all for a storage space, but wanting an interest rate is a bit out there...

I'd prefer a plain storage area. :D

Madadder has helpfully

Madadder has helpfully pointed out the dozens of times this has come up before, but allow me to summarise: interest rates drive inflation up, currency is devalued as everyone has stacks more for no additional effort, and the economy takes a nosedive. And without interest, all that in-game bank accounts would do is add an extraneous layer of inconvenience to getting at your hard-earned currency.

Remember folks: engage your thinker before your typers!
