I log in to my account and when I press on my knight, and the game should start loading, a black screen appears and the music starts. No matter how long I wait, nothing happens.
If anyone knows anything about this problem, please help.

Edit: When I log in from my other account (a steam account), I choose my knight and the game loads successfully. Then I try to go into a mission and the game logs me out automatically. what's happening?

I tested it on my father's pc which has a windows xp and it's the exact same problem.
But I think I figured it out, I think it's a proxy problem.
I'll do some more tests and post the results later.
Thank you for your help guys.

Can you just do port

Can you just do port forwarding on your router or something?

There's a proxy.txt file in the game folders, but iono what that does. Mine are empty in every version of the game client. I'd imagine that you could put something in that file to make SK change its behavior, but I am not the boss of that. Perhaps send a support ticket?

If you do, and they reply, we'd like to know the answer they give you.

If you go to Java in the Control Panel it will open up the Java Control Panel. Under the Network Settings button you can edit how Java connects to the internet from your computer, including proxy settings.

Thank you Dogrock

Thank you very much Dogrock, that worked very well. I spent 86 of my 100 energy without the game logging me out one time (before this, the game logged me out every time I went into a mission).
But when I returned to haven, it logged me out and sent me back to the log-on screen with the results of the mission still there in the same screen and I can't press on anything (it froze but I could still hear the music).

It doesn't matter very much now because finally I was able to play almost uninterrupted. So, it was definitely a proxy problem.

Did you switch proxys or added one? And what region are you in, and whose your ISP? We've been trying to pull together a list of ISP shenanigans, and ways to get around them.... so this will be hugely helpful.
