Loans
It sounds like he doesn't actually want banks, he wants loans. He wants to be able to overdraw his account, spending money he doesn't have in exchange for interest charges later. Which, obviously, is unenforceable, and therefore incredibly exploitable.
Hard to tell whether Aznshaboodle is a fool or he just thinks the devs are.

Banks? Sure. Loans? Maybe.
We need Banks IMO, Punch juststeals my money half of the time, and I get carried away with it.
As for loans, I had a idea way back.
You can loan up to 7.5k CR weekly, but must pay it all back by a week after the loan. If not, you cannot loan any more crowns until it is paid back.
Cons about loans: Alts. You can go yum yum yum an mail tons of CR over to your real knight. How to fix that? You can't trade/mail that CR, unless you have constantly paid back all of your loans.
So loans?
Sadly no until somebody can think of a Anti-I'm going to make tons of Alts hahahaha and be rich-idea.

Yup. Banks, I'm all for it. It'll stop me from spending it all on other ppl/stuff. Loans? Not such a big fan.
Why do we need the banks? We have have incredibly large amounts of Cr and Ce, so large in fact that little to no one ever reaches the limit. And we don't need them for Materials because we can already storde hundreds of thousands in our inventory.
