Ok so at the moment, as far as we know accessories fall into three categories.
Normal coloured
5* coloured
Prismatic..
that's almost like having Bronze/Silver/and Gold style boxes.
now while I think having gold silver and bronze box colours is a bad idea. Perhaps the accessory person could 'spy' on the contents for 10CE but could only tell you what tier it is.
tier 1 = normal
tier 2 = 5* coloured
tier 3 = Prismatic
she wouldn't actually tell what is in the box.. only what tier its in.. and people could collate the tiers themself through the wiki
this also leaves open the possibility for higher spying- like 50CE to tell you what part of the armour it fits on
100CE to tell you what is in the box.
that there's still a CE incentive to look in boxes.. and people wont be so upset about 750ce prices for keys.
No. This is just a fancy way of reducing the cost opening boxes, except that it's more complicated and will destroy the resale market (you'll have to assume that a box is only being sold because the current owner spied on it and decided it wasn't worth opening). You can already sell the contents after opening if it's not what you want, which is much better for the market because the buyer and seller have equal information.
If no one buys keys at 750 energy, then they should just flat-out make them less expensive. But as long as most lockboxes are, in fact, getting opened by someone, a system of "spying" on the contents can only make things worse.
