I'm sort of getting tired of dropping my health capsules and other pickups on the floor to count them. Would it be possible to implement some sort of automated counting system with number display for pickups?

Some may say, such a feature would be overpowered because that could somewhat speed up adventuring in the clockworks, make you less likely to die while trying to count your capsules in battle and subsequently lead to elevated ce prices... but most of the players have already learned that it's not a good idea to count your stuff while you're fighting vana or something, so I think a feature like that would just make the game more newbie-friendly in the long run, which is a good thing... right?
