This is partially a rant but also has suggestions, up to the devs to use or disregard them.
Most if not all the accessories block your character's eyes, glasses being the exception doing so partially, but that leaves only one option. While some have some applications they are too common for the demand they have, basically makes a lot of useless box openings. Needless to say of the barrel bellies and maid headbands and some others. Myself I can't seem to "complete" a look because none of the front accessories truly work for me.
If you are going to have common items at least make a lot of variety among them so that there is always something you can use, and also adjust their rates to match their expected popularity, you made the least wanted also the most common.
I see a lot of mecha items, but instead of a vented visor you could have used a glass (translucent) visor that fits the mecha theme better while showing the eyes completely. You could have also introduced an xmen's cyclops visor, with the self illuminating stripe using your characters color, those items would have been more popular, instead of everyone just wanting cat ears and glasses. To me it feels like just one person did the modeling job and it didn't take too long, is three rings that small?
I don't think I need to draw them to make the point. The vented visor is ugly most of the time (it does have its uses, like paired with a mohawk and antennas or wings for a punk look, but this is a look most people will not be interested in).
This update does have quite few content once you look at it, most of the diversity is from multiplying the few accessories by all the colors available, which could have been done with cans of paint instead (that used a machine that used materials to create the colors possibly, although thats up to you with your market regulation). It makes me think of all the people that got ripped off spending on keys, lucky me I didn't.
You can say there are uncommon items waiting to be found, but by now that means they are so rare its the same as if they didn't exist at all. If you are going to have some items as rare as them then have a huge diversity of common items, not just 5 per slot or so (and not even that, armor front items are just 2, both considered not so good, and the back ones are rare to start with, and two again, the possibility of a wolver tail and angelic wings like i said so rare they don't count).
Im not even saying we need more auras, sure that would be cool, I'm talking about the common items only.
OOO claims there are some undiscovered items, nick said it somewhere I think...
