Failed to connect to server

Okay, so i have tried to install SK on my grandparents computer to try and play here in the meantime as i am stuck here.

The problem is i am getting this error "Failed to connect to server"

Now i have tried to see what may have caused it. I disabled my Firewall (The only one is the windows one) and it didn't work....I am connecting to a router wirlessly and i tried to open the ports i have copied from the projectx.log file with the IP to my PC but it still didn't work....

That's what it says in the last one...And i don't see anything that went wrong here....For some reason the port 47624 is blocked when i have done telnet to it...And opening the port in the router config didn't work either...

Any suggestions?

Okay, a little update....I

Okay, a little update....I have even configured DMZ on my PC and it still doesn't connect so i really have no idea why i cannot connect to this game

The game doesn't require

The game doesn't require inbound ports to be configured. First thing is to undo all the changes you made so they don't pose a problem later.

First question would be your system specs, just so we know what your working with, the modem, router, and ISP your behind, and have you tried wired connection to the network?
