Sleep should go.

My suggestion would be to either fix sleep or get rid of it entirely.

Other than the very rare Sloom (rare enough that I've *never* seen one, since I started playing after their heydey had passed), no monsters seem to deal sleep. This renders sleep resists on armor and sleep resist trinkets completely pointless PvE. Since there are no player weapons that deal sleep, they're also pointless PvP. And sleep vials are extraneous too. I don't see people collect/use them, and I know I avoid them myself. Compared to the other options, they're less useful and are kinda boring.

Sleep really seems like an evolutionary remnant, at this point -- something which was useful once but which has lost its purpose. Personally, I'm not very excited by sleep as a status, and my pick would be to dump it entirely. But either way, something should be done about it. It seems silly (and potentially confusing to noobs) for it to be lingering around in its current half-baked form.

Even so.

Right, which is why I didn't mention sleep UV's. I meant that there are still useless resists on armors, such as the Jelly Mail line.

My main point is, even if sleep is going to return in the future, it should return *then*, not hang around now. The sleep features should be disabled until there is any real or full implementation of them. Right now, the status is just some weird remnant.

My secondary point is that I, personally, don't find sleep to be a very interesting/exciting status. So, I would rather see it get scrapped entirely. I think there are more interesting directions to go and that the time could be better spent on other things.

It is interesting. Ever made

It is interesting. Ever made something go to sleep, then started to bat at it? A sleeping enemy won't move an inch, no matter how hard to hit(well, unless it's REALLY hard, but in that case, why do you need statuses?). It's an interesting status, because if you just leave a sleeping enemy, he'll come back with full health.

It doesn't really need to be removed. Besides, you aren't effected badly by having good(or bad) resistance to sleep.

To each their own.

Yes, I've used sleep enough to say that I don't care for it as a status. I can totally respect that you find it interesting. I myself don't.

But it does make armors that have sleep resistance less useful and/or useable than others. It unbalances them.
