My opinion on lockboxes is: they are useless
the way this whole accessory thing should work is that you should have to pay the CE to bind the accessory to your gear.

At the wheel you would receive the accessory, then be able to resell the accessory on the AH. Whoever then wants to wear that accessory just goes to that vendor whose name escapes me and pay the CE to equip the accessory on his armor (just the way buying UV works).

IMHO, this would make more sense and capacitate an actual market for accessories.

well.. this will help since people will see what they are getting before spending the energy. But i'm not 100% convinced...
All low level players will sell their accesories just like they sell their lockboxes right now without that much of a change.

It's actuualy a long

It's actuualy a long convoluted economic move that helps all players and OOO. The supply is random, as are the items, so the prices can rise, creating a large repeating listing fee, lowering CE. This also makes richer players give crowns to players that can only sell lockboxes, as opposed to opening them. These players are stocked up on energy that they refuse to put on market, to them losing CE dosen't damage it.
So CE lowers, people spend real money for opening boxes, poor people get crowns for nothing, and rich people get something to do. This theoreticaly could collapse easialy, but OOO has created a somewhat impressive jenga tower. I asked that the keys be 50% cr untill I noticed this.

To add on...

Their schemes actually make people buy energy with real money. More spontaneously appearing energy with $$$ drops Crowns4Energy prices. I wouldn't buy an accessory unless I got the extra crowns I maybe want to use, but others would die for some, and spend real money, slightly lowering those prices.
