Dear OOO Rings,

A great little feature you could provide to your game community is a character statistic page. Basically, this would be information about a particular players’ character or account activeness, for example the number of times a players character or account has defeated the Jelly King. This information can be accessed in the top right corner of the screen by clicking your character button, which opens your Character window. A stat/statistics tab could be added somewhere near or between the equipment, progress and achievement tab. Also, if you inspect a players character you would find the statistics tab beside their equipment tab. Anyway, here is just some of the information I would like to see in the statistics tab.

General Information
Hours played:
Clockwork levels completed:
Materials Collected:

Crafting information
Swords:
Handguns:
Bombs:
Helmets:
Armor:
Shields:
Recipes Learned:

King Krogmo’s Coliseum
Lockdown Games:
Wins:
Loss:
Blast Network Games:
Wins:
Loss:

Boss defeats
Snarbolax:
Royal Jelly:
Roarmulus Twins:
Lord Vanaduke:

Of Course there may be alot more information missing from my list however this is just what I want to see in the stat tab. If you feel that I have missed some important information please add to the suggestion. Anyhow, I think this would be a great way to see who the Top Players of Spiral Knights are. Men Lie, Women Lie, Numbers Don’t. Sure we have some really skilled players out in the SK community who have the ability to solo FSC, Defeat Lord Vanaduke with no deaths, But if that is all they do in Spiral Knights does that make them great players? In my earnest opinion a great players is good at everything and is great at nothing. So with that said, if you support this give me your vote, if not please explain why? Who knows maybe a ranking system can be generated based on these statistics to determine Spiral Knight’s Top Players.

I was thinking about this earlier, when playing, and would like to add this function:

Total Gems Collected: #

Because I know that I'm very close to collecting 10,000 but I want to know how close. =]
And then I'd like to have that information available after collecting the 10,000 achievement.
But also...

Total Luminite Gems Collected: #

And the same for all of the different gems. Just to see which I randomly favour. =D

Nothing wrong with bean counting. Who would not want to know how many Clockwork levels they have completed or how many times they have beaten Vanaduke. I think its good information to know, plus you can tell alot about a player if you have seen what he/she has done..just my opinion.

I like this idea, but I think

I like this idea, but I think it could lead to new players being kicked from boss runs. Lets say a knight named Bob has only done normal clockworks levels, but has full 5* stuff. He finally decides to try lord vanaduke. When he joins a party the "vanaduke veterans" check how many times he has defeated lord vanaduke, it says 0. The veterans assume he is a noob and doesnt know anything about vanaduke, so they kick him... So all this time Bob is either being kicked because he never beat him before, or failing with some noobs that dont care to check. Im just stating some bad things, other than that (I guess people could bully more cuz of this) It is an excellent idea, how about amount of times reached [subtown] or the core terminal?

I honestly don't wanna know

I honestly don't wanna know how many times I've killed Vanaduke.... it only reinforces the idea that I play this game too much. :P

And Marazo carries a huge point. While not true of everyone, the stigma behind stat whores was genuinely earned by them, and the related discriminatory behavior becomes pretty obvious. How many times have you seen someone bail from a party the moment anyone dies for any reason?

There's even more that could

There's even more that could put added. For example, the ratio of each weapon used. Just going down the list you would see...

60% Combuster
34% Hail Driver
6% Graviton Vortex

So on...

It's some kind of strange primal thing that all people love to see what they've done in cold hard numbers.

Good point! But Bullying already exist even without a Stat tab, for example today I kicked someone from my FSC run because they did not have the correct gear. I don’t know about you guys but I’m not going to run FSC with someone wearing a deadly Virulisk Set, Royal Jelly Shield and a Winmillion and Valiance. Anyway, I basically suggested this because it would give players something to compare themselves, a sense of achievement and even bragging rights. All we need is just some basic stats nothing fancy. SK needs this! A Stat tab could lead to a bunch of other features also including new achievements, global rankings and so on.

Why not? Hes basically free

Why not? Hes basically free heat.

And I like this quote...... "Well-designed team games are generally not susceptible to accurate grading of individual performance. Instead of idolizing numbers, you should actually think about the repercussions of your actions." -Antistone

Why not count how many people

Why not count how many people he ignores, how many people he removed from a party, how often he has been removed or went solo, how many people he revived and how many party members were dead when he stepped on an elevator.
Oh and how many health he lost, how often each monster killed him and how many of his hits, bullets and vials missed.

Good idea.

Also, PvP nemesis? I suppose your nemesis would be decided on the total of kills/deaths against the subject in each mode (not counting team-kills in Blast Network). Would be neat to have.

Overall a cool idea,

Overall a cool idea, although. . .
1. The amount of time played I don't think should be on the list, other people don't need to know what you do with your time.
2. I don't think you should list the recipes, maybe how many, but not the ones they know.

To those that are worried about bullying: bullying isn't going to stop so don't rob the majority, that aren't jerks, the ability to enjoy the game! Punishing all because of a few is wrong!
