I am tired of losing because we have a 2* guy wielding a 4* sword in t3 pvp who do less than 1k damage. Can we make it a requirement that you have to have at least all 4* gear to do t3 pvp and all 2* gear to do t2 pvp...

I understand that people might have to wait longer for a t3 match, but playing with a proto dude is like playing with a player down, i think people will be willing to wait a little longer.

A valid observation, but not

A valid observation, but not a good solution. The fact is that this wouldn't matter if OOO put more work into teambalance as opposed to costume acssesory blah blah.
And juanace, he means you can play T2 with full 3*. The problem is that he just reverses the problem. His solution would allow someone with all 4* and one 3* to play T2, clearly outranking the opposition.

yeah...but that kind of sucks

yeah...but that kind of sucks for middle players. That means a full 3* player has to dump at least 1200 CE at one time (400helm,400armor,400weapon) or downgrade their weapons, or otherwise be forced to not play any form of lockdown, yes it isn't so great having a t2 player on your team, but it happens, and not all of them are bad, I've come across some better than me (not that that's hard to do...).

Its not much to ask for if ur

Its not much to ask for if ur in the middle, just buy a t2 pvp set, wolver coat, wolver helm and a flourish... that will cost less than 10k, and if u cant afford that buy a t1 pvp set.

I just want to throw this out

I just want to throw this out there for those of you that believe 1 person can bring down an entire team.

By my experiences, this has never been true. I've won games with AFKers, leavers, and people with lousy gear. PvP in SK isn't like in WoW where the person with the better gear is often the winner. In this game, skill far outweighs the gear.

Now if you have both skill AND gear, you can carry a team through an entire match. I know. I've done it. Sorry if that sounds like bragging, but it's true.

So don't get down next time you start a game and someone leaves 2 seconds in. You are still fully capable of winning.

Leinhart is right. I have

Leinhart is right. I have been on teams that won a man down, even 2 men down, assuming the other players know what the heck they're doing (and a fair bit of luck). AFKer, leaver, or a single sucky player does not mean instant win for the other team.

I can give you a list of people that can carry a team: Leinhart, Jupey, Hetero, Velcro, myself, Quet in t2 (for a newer player god damn is he good), there are others I have friended but I'm not logged in at the moment to look through my list.

I remember one match, unfortunately I don't remember the guys name, a person in Wolver showed up on the other team. Close match, other team lost, and when the stats came up at the end the guy in Wolver had the most defends and damage for his team by a couple thousand points. Because he went Recon and knew what the heck he was doing... unlike a couple people that decided to go Vog Striker and then charged right into my 2 hit sword kills. You're only as good as your skill and equipment combined is. His armor may have been below par for T3 but he made up for it by being very good.

solution

the solution to all problems:

give a set of weapons and armor that only applies during pvp and only this set of armor can be used in pvp. this armor and weapon set will be sent to all players upon reaching the lockdown arena, and they would all have the same stats. you would be able to put accessories on them though

bazinga!

that wouldn't be lockdown,

that wouldn't be lockdown, that'd be Blast Network turned into a lockdown format and would probably make all the any star players who wanted to use their hard earned equipment in a team setting mad because their crap is now semi useless.
